and these are a few photos I. jones took this morning at the organic markets. she feasted on  delicious malaysian style roti, spiraled deep fried potato with sour cream and onion and a heavenly lemon meringue pie.

wind swept.

just as we were thinking that the sun seemed to be out longer and our days a little warmer, winter has come crashing back this week! we've all got colds again at GI jones and because we live so far apart we can even blame each other for catching them. the cold and windy weather seems to have blown away our motivation and we are all scared that our vintage passion will turn into more of a chore. so several phone calls and skype dates later we have decided to push back our collection to friday to make sure we dont loose sight of why we decided to do this in the first place, to share new finds with each other and hopefully you all in our new store and to stay in contact. so thats the new plan sorry to keep you waiting but just think its just one more sleep :)

perfect.

when we started this project i don't think we realized just how hard it was going to be. we are all perfectionists and want everything to be just right which means things are taking a little bit longer than expected to get up and running. editing the photoshoot photos, writing ebay descriptions, making sure we have a layout we are all happy with has been time consuming. but the exciting news is we are almost ready! and the perfectionism has paid off, we cant wait for you to see our first collection. it should be up fingers crossed on thursday night.  but we promise to keep you posted. to give you a little taste of whats to come here's some of our favourite pics from the GI jones' shoot.
