finally GI jones can show you the long awaited photos of T. jones' melbourne trip she went on with her old high school group last weekend. highlights included 4 am Crown Casino adventures, Chapel Street shopping with numerous midday bar stops to keep the boys happy (see new shoes post for some of her purchases), confusion with train doors that don't open automatically resulting in getting lost in the industrial estate whilst reading maps and acting like true tourists, a horse drawn carriage ride around the city (T. jones wearing her AA riding pants AMAZING), midnight chats and giggling sessions, crashing a 1950's dress up party because they liked the music the DJ was playing, dinner dates and so much more. the trip was such a success they are already planning one for next year. with only 4 hours sleep the whole weekend there is no wonder the photos and re cap took so long!

new shoes.

we thought we would share the first few pics from T. jones' melbourne adventure. her first new purchases after buy nothing new month! an awesome pair of leopard print 'fur' ballet flats and a great pair of strap wedges she picked up from two little stores on Chapel St. she is so proud of herself (and so are we) for being sensible and buying a pair of flats that she'll be able to get heaps of wear out of! we'll put up some more pics and tell you about her trip as soon as she's fully recovered :)

 

 we cant wait to show you some of the great things we picked up yesterday we dont often include clothes in our collection but some pieces we find like the vintage sequin top we just want to share with you. yesterday I. jones found an amazing vintage silk Chloé bow top and just couldnt leave it behind. she also found heaps of other vintage treasures including a hawaiian theme charm bracelet a fabulous purple stone 'gold' brooch and heaps, heaps more. she will be spending the morning getting them ready to go up on eBay with the rest of the collection this week!
